COURSE DETAILS The TTT race, part of the Interclub Series will be held at Woodford Island on a fast 42km out and back course from Maclean to Brushgrove and return. The race starts near the heritage listed McFarlane Bridge and follows the beautiful south arm of the Clarence River on flat roads before passing across a few short sharp hills in the middle section of the course. Teams will turn around at Brushgrove village and head back towards maclean with a short climb up red hill before a fast run to the finish line.  RACE FORMAT  The format will be a 4 rider TEAM TIME TRIAL. There are no grades as a handicap system will be in place. Team start times will be posted on the Yamba Cycling Club Facebook page on Saturday evening https://www.facebook.com/YambaCC Juniors (U15 and U17) riders may ride in open grades under the condition they race using their restricted gears and do not exceed the maximum allowable distance for their age category, unless they have received approval by the State Junior Coach. For more information refer to: Auscycling Technical Regulations - Road RACE ENTRY, GRADING AND SIGN ON To help with managing the race, entry is via this link only. Entries close midnight on Friday 5th December. There is to be one entry per team, with the team captain providing the details for each of the 4 riders. This information will be used for handicapping purposes. all 4 riders must be from the same club if you wish to be eligible for points towards the inter-club championship. Sign on is located at the start/finish line from 6:30am. You will find us under the big blue gazebo. Each rider will need to show us a valid AusCycling Membership (LIFESTYLE LEVEL OR GREATER) HANDICAPPING The team times will be adjusted on the basis of the following: A team will be eligible for a 1 minute time deduction for each female rider in a team A team will be eligible for a 1 minute time deduction for each rider over the age of 50 years or under the age of 17 years A team will be eligible for a 2 minute time deduction for each rider over the age of 60 years or under the age of 15 years A team will be eligible for a 3 minute time deduction for each rider over the age of 70 years A team will be eligible for a 5 minute time deduction for each rider over the age of 80 year Please note: Handicap deductions will only apply to riders who finish with their team i.e. in the same group with no more than 5 seconds gap between riders. RULES A maximum of 4 riders are allowed per team.  The finish time is taken from the 3rd rider in the team to cross the line. Clip on aero bars and time trial bikes are permitted and will need to be suitable for cycling or triathlon competition. They are not encouraged for riders unfamiliar with riding on time trial bars in a group situation. Helmets will need to display an AS 2063 approved sticker. If another team catches your team you must allow them to pass before regrouping and separating as teams Teams must not draft off a team in front, if you catch up to another team either overtake or drop back If you are overtaking a team, you MUST overtake by riding in single file and do not interfere with the other team. Give multiple advance warnings as you come up behind them.  PRIZES + PRESENTATION Teams are eligible for club points only. There are no individual points on offer. The points from the TTT will be used to help decide the overall champion club for the series. An Inter Club Series Presentation will occur at the Yamba Shores Tavern from 11:30am.  PARKING, TOILETS, ETC Parking is located at the start/finish line and toilet facilites are located approx 2km away at various locations in Maclean. Riders are asked to retain all their food wrappers during the race and dispose of them in the bins provided at the sign on table. WARM UP Riders are allowed to warm up on the course up until the pre-race briefing at 6:50am. After this point riders can only use the adjacent roads. All normal road rules apply. COURSE DETAILS The ITT race, part of the Interclub Series will be held at Woodford Island on a fast 23km out and back course from Maclean to the Brushgrove Wreckers and return. The race starts near the heritage listed McFarlane Bridge and follows the beautiful south arm of the Clarence River on flat roads before doing the sharp climb to the wreckers. Riders will make a u-turn just past the sumit and return back to the McFarlane Bridge.  RACE FORMAT AND ORDER The format will be an INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIAL with A, B, C and D grade races on offer. Start times for each rider will be posted Friday evening on the Yamba Cycling Club Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/YambaCC Juniors (U15 and U17) riders may ride in open grades under the condition they race using their restricted gears and do not exceed the maximum allowable distance for their age category, unless they have received approval by the State Junior Coach. COURSE DETAILS The YCC is hosting the second leg of a double header weekend as part of the JACARANDA FESTIVAL. The Jaca road race will be held at Woodford Island on a fast 42km out and back course from Maclean to Brushgrove and return. The race starts near the heritage listed McFarlane Bridge and follows the beautiful south arm of the Clarence River on flat roads before passing across a few short sharp hills in the middle section of the course. Riders will turn around at Brushgrove village and head back towards maclean with a short climb up red hill before a fast run to the finish line. This race suits the strong attacking rider or the sprinter who can handle short climbs.  Create Routes or Search for a route from millions at MapMyRide   RACE FORMAT  The format will be OPEN GRADED SCRATCH, with A, B, C, D grade races on offer. We will also have a separate D grade women's race and an ADAPTIVE RIDER category. This should cater for all levels of racing skill and ability.  Juniors (U15 and U17) riders may ride in open grades under the condition they race using their restricted gears and do not exceed the maximum allowable distance for their age category, unless they have received approval by the State Junior Coach. All riders will be notified of their final grading at the pre-race briefing. RIDERS PARTICIPATING IN THE INTERCLUB SERIES (GCC, NRCC, BBCC AND YCC) MUST ENTER THE GRADE THAT THEY ARE COMPETING IN FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES. PRIZES Prize money for placings in all grades will be calculated from the total pool of entry fees collected plus race sponsorship. COURSE DETAILS This YCC road race will be held at James Creek on a challenging 40km, 2 lap course. The race starts on James Creek Road near the Harwood Bridge and heads south towards Gardeners Road via a series of short climbs. Riders will turn left under neutral conditions onto Gardiners Road then head across the plateau before riding the sugar cane and macadamia flats that run alongside Palmers Channel. The race makes a u-turn and heads back along Gardeners Road going through undulating country before making another u-turn just before the outskirts of Townsend. Riders will cross more undulating roads then make an uphill left turn on James Creek Road to head back to the finish line. At the finish line there is a turnaround point to allow riders to do another lap of the course. For those riders who have made it over the undulations again on the second lap and are able to contest the finish, there are 2 short climbs to be able to dislodge any remaining freeloaders before the finale. The road surface along James Creek is wide with a series of false flats that allow for high speeds as you cross the finish line.
